35th Capability Training

The Association of Local Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (ALCUCOA) hosted its 35th Capability Training Program from October 2 to 4, 2024, at the Bohol Bee Farm Hotel, Tagbilaran, Bohol, under the theme "Corporate Good Governance for LCUs." The event gathered 62 academic leaders and professionals to focus on strategic governance and employee engagement.

Speakers Dir. Arthur Luis P. Florentin, former Executive Director of the Civil Service Institute, and Dr. Elizabeth A. Montero, ALCUCOA Vice President, led sessions on topics including The Balanced Scorecard Concepts and Applications, Driving Employee Engagement and Change, and Collaboration and Collective Engagement.

The program highlighted the importance of strategic alignment, responsive governance, and fostering dynamic workplace engagement. ALCUCOA continues to empower LCUs with practical tools to enhance academic and organizational excellence.
