The Association of Local Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (ALCUCOA) successfully hosted its 33rd Capability Training Program from June 26 to 28, 2024, at Grand Menseng Hotel, Davao City, under the theme "Internalization of Accreditation." The event welcomed 55 academic leaders and professionals eager to explore international accreditation practices and smart accreditation strategies.
Esteemed speakers Dr. Elizabeth Montero, Vice President of ALCUCOA and Chancellor of ALCU Academy, and Dr. Marjorie S. Tangog, Executive Vice President of the University of Perpetual Help, shared their expertise on vital topics. Discussions included Responding and Building Champions for Change Through Internationalization, Engaging LUCs to Smart Accreditation, Understanding International Accreditation, Looking Through the AQAF Lens, and Benchmarks: International Accreditation Practices.
This training program equipped attendees with insights into aligning their institutions with international accreditation standards, emphasizing innovation, adaptability, and excellence.
