TAGOLOAN COMMUNITY COLLEGE PURSUES ACCREDITATION TO STRENGTHEN ACADEMIC STANDARDS

September 18-20, 2024 – Tagoloan Community College (TCC) was subjected to a significant accreditation process, enhancing its commitment to high-quality education and institutional excellence. A range of TCC programs were evaluated for either Candidate Status or Level 1 accreditation, reinforcing the institution’s dedication to meeting stringent academic standards.

The following TCC programs were granted Level 1 accreditation: Bachelor of Arts Major in Sociology, Bachelor in Elementary Education, and BSBA Financial Management. These programs were assessed by Dr. Diony V. Varela, Dr. Analiza F. Arcega, and Dr./Atty. Gloria J. Bañas.

Programs granted Candidate Status are Bachelor in Secondary Education Major in English, Bachelor in Secondary Education Major in Filipino, BS Criminal Justice and Public Safety, BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management, BS Community Development, Bachelor in Secondary Education Major in Physical Education, Bachelor in Secondary Education Major in Social Studies, BS Information Technology, Bachelor of Library and Information Science, and BS Midwifery. Accreditors of these programs include Dr. Carolina R. Duka, Prof. Antonio D. Flores, Jr., Dr. Irene R. De Villa, Dr. Diony V. Varela, Dr. Priscilla L. Miñas, Prof. Arlida M. Pame, Dr. Khatalyn E. Mata, Prof. Angelee S. Domingo, and Dr. Ma. Cecilia O. Martinez.

Prof. Angelee S. Domingo also accredited the Library Area. The team was led by Dr./Atty. Gloria J. Bañas, Supervising Accreditor, assisted by Dr. Ricky Dimaapi, Supervising Technical Assistant.
