The City College of San Fernando submitted its academic programs for a comprehensive accreditation assessment from December 5 – 7, 2023. This initiative underscored the college's dedication to upholding educational standards and enhancing the academic experiences it offers.

The programs that were successfully evaluated for Level 1 accreditation included Bachelor of Secondary Education in English, Bachelor of Secondary Education in General Science, Bachelor of Secondary Education in Mathematics, Bachelor of Elementary Education, BS in Information Technology, BS in Business Administration Major in Financial Management, BS in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management and BS in Accounting Information System.

Dr. Rene Colocar served as the Supervising Accreditor, with individual program evaluations conducted by the following accreditors - Dr. Ma. Carmen D. Solayao, Dr. Mel Greg O. Concepcion, Dr. Aileen Aviles Diansuy, Dr. Carolina R. Duka, Dr. Rejan L. Tadeo, Dr. Amado L. Magsino and Dr. Doringer P. Cabrera.

Prof. Angelee S. Domingo served as Library accreditor while Dr. Arnel Leonardo provided technical assistance.

The Level 1 status achieved by each program represented the foundational stage of the accreditation process, involving the establishment of basic quality benchmarks for the institution’s academic offerings. The successful Level 1 accreditation affirmed the City College of San Fernando’s commitment to quality education and paved the way for further improvements and advancements in each program.
