From May 15th to 17th, 2024, Taguig City University underwent a comprehensive multi-program accreditation evaluation.

Programs awarded Candidate Status, and the assigned accreditors are Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE) Major in Science under Dr. Leticia V. Catris, BS in Tourism Management and BS in Hospitality Management under Dr. Rowena P. Sagaysay, BS in Business Administration (BSBA) Major in Human Resource Development Management under Dr. Jocelyn R. Pick, Bachelor of Public Administration under Dr. Lorena C. Valerio, and Bachelor of Social Work under Dr. Lorna C. Gabad.

Graduate programs submitted for accreditation were also awarded Candidate Status namely Master of Science in Criminal Justice by Dr. Yolanda S. Lira, Master in Business Administration (MBA) by Dr. Victor C. Manabat, Master in Public Administration by Dr. Norlito G. Gicana and Master in Education Management by Dr. Enrico Iñigo Xavier C. Quodala.

Other programs were granted Level 1 as follows: Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English, Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics, BS in Psychology, BS in Office Administration, BS in Computer Science, BS in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management, BS in Entrepreneurial Management. Accreditors for these programs are Dr. Carmelita L. Palabay, Dr. Carolina R. Duka, Dr. Evelyn D. Cruzada, Dr. Aurora B. Fulgencio, Dr. Jocelyn R. Pick, Dr. Rolando R. Lansigan, Dr. Ferdinand L. Martinez, and Dr. Melissa Grace S. Oreta.

Level 2 accreditation was granted to BS in Criminology assessed by Dr. Yolanda S. Lira.

The team was led by Dr. Elizabeth Montero, as Supervising Accreditor and Prof. Alni Gavjaymin Casacop, and Prof. Emily Acero as Supervising Technical Assistants. Prof. Venus Oruga joined the team as Library Accreditor.

The outcomes of this accreditation evaluation are expected to pave the way for further advancements and enhancements in each of the accredited programs, solidifying Taguig City University’s reputation as a premier institution for higher learning.
